The beautiful stage, designed by <b>Gensler<\/b>, was packed out from start to finish, buzzing with architects, designers and workplace professionals, eager to hear from industry leaders. Day one in the <a href=\"https:\/\/workspaceshow.co.uk\/workspace-design-talks-2024\">Workspace Design Talks<\/a> kicked off with an insightful talk on \u2018Insights and perspectives on the convergent future of workplace\u2019 with panellists <b>Yasmin Al-Ani Spence,<\/b> Director, <b>WilkinsonEyre<\/b>, <b>Ewan Jones,<\/b> Partner, Grimshaw and <b>Nicola Gillen,<\/b> Head of Total Workplace EMEA, <b>Cushman &amp; Wakefield<\/b>. Other key workplace leaders sharing their insights on workplace strategy, design &amp; culture across the two days were <b>Helen Berresford,<\/b> Head of <b>ID:SR Sheppard Robson, Alan Bainbridge<\/b>, Director of Workplace <b>BBC, Sarah-Jane Osbourne<\/b>, Head of Workplace UK and Europe, <b>Avison Young<\/b>, <b>Linzi Cassels<\/b>, Principal Design Director, <b>Perkins&amp;Will<\/b>, <b>Laurie Goodman<\/b>, Strategy Director, <b>IA Interior Architects<\/b>, <b>Neil Usher<\/b>, VP Places, <b>Sage<\/b>, <b>Naomi Sakamoto<\/b>, Principal Studio Director, <b>Gensler<\/b>, <b>Mary-Louise Gray<\/b>, VP Workplace, Real Estate &amp; Facilities, <b>GSK<\/b>.\u00a0<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/workspaceshow.co.uk\/sustainability-works-2024\">Sustainability Works,<\/a> curated by <b>Mick Jordan<\/b>, Editor of Works magazine, returned for 2024 and did not disappoint. Once again, the talks brought together a selection of key figures from firms such as <b>Perkins&amp;Will, Scott Brownrigg, BDG architecture and design<\/b>, <b>M Moser Associates, BDP<\/b> and <b>Resonate Interiors <\/b>who are behind the workplace market\u2019s leading sustainable initiatives and projects.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Pernille Bonser<\/b>, CEO of <b>Resonate Interiors<\/b> said, <i>&#8220;Workspace Design Show is not only the perfect <\/i><i>place for discovering new products, but also brings designers and architects together. It\u2019s about <\/i><i>meeting and connecting with friends in the same community, these shared conversations are so <\/i><i>important &#8220;<\/i>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/workspaceshow.co.uk\/workspace-design-talks-2024-occupiers-forum\">Occupiers Forum<\/a>, provided unique insights from occupiers such as <b>BT Group, HSBC, Clifford Chance, Booking.com, Visa, Salesforce, HMRC,<\/b> and<b> Barclay<\/b>s into what employers are doing to create an engaging workplace experience. <a href=\"https:\/\/workspaceshow.co.uk\/finishes-interiors-2024\">The FIS Conference<\/a> explored productivity, quality, compliance and sustainability issues in the fit-out sector.\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Mario Vieira, Scott Brownrigg<\/b>, Head of Sustainability, commented, \u201c<i>The Workspace Design Show showcases all the upcoming innovative products and trends. In my role and practice, I aim to assist our teams by giving advice, this show allow us to gauge a much stronger understanding of the market, making that a lot easier.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0<\/p><p>2024 had a vast array of spectacular features, inspired by the overarching show theme \u2018Bloom \u2013 Exploring the Thriving Ecosystem of Work Life\u2019. Captivating stages included the <b>Design Talks Lounge <\/b>by <b>Gensler<\/b> and<b> the Insights Lounge by BDP, <\/b>and other features included the immersive <b>Entrance <\/b>by<b> tp bennett<\/b>, a<b> Living Workplace <\/b>lighting installation<b> by Jason Bruges Studio, the Mood Board Contest by MF Design Studio, <\/b>and the calming<b> Recharge Lounge by M Moser Associates.<\/b> The show\u2019s stunning exhibition floor hosted exhibitors from over 20 countries, and it was wonderful to see some of the stunning stand designs showcasing the products. The best stand design competition was won by Spain\u2019s <b>Kettal<\/b> and the UK\u2019s <b>AllSf\u00e4r, <\/b>judged by a panel of leading specifiers.<\/p><p>As day one came to a close, the Workspace Design Show party commenced. The buzzing atmosphere allowed people to socialise and network over a glass of wine, transforming the venue into a vibrant hub of creativity and connection.<\/p><p>Esha &amp; Charlie Bark-Jones, Workspace Design Show founders, said <i>\u201cWe\u2019re absolutely thrilled that so many of the UK\u2019s workplace interiors community came together to experience the fantastic speakers sharing their insights, transformative products from our exhibitors and stunning features experiences from our partners.
